Are you a Structural Engineer looking for a new opportunity in a role offering progression into management and subsidised qualifications? Are you looking for a role which will help you gain chartership, progression to senior management and one day have your own team working below you?
This company is an established, award winning Structural and Civil engineering consultancy. Their projects range from small domestic alterations and extensions, to newbuilds and super homes, low-rise building conversions, swimming pools, temporary works, drainage and highways design, in residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.
This varied role will see you responsible for attending meetings both in office and on-site, meeting clients face to face, liaising with the wider team to ensure designs are compliant, calculated correctly and finished to specification. You will also be hands on 3D designing, preparing technical documents, working autonomously.
This role would suit a Structural Engineer or similar, looking for a new opportunity to increase their skillset, progress into senior management alongside gaining chartership and grow the company around you.
The Role:
- Attending client sites, including taking measurements
- Project design team meetings
- Preparing technical documents.
- Designing calculations.
- Drawings, schedules, reports, specifications.
- Coordinate design with the wider design team
The Person:
- Structural Engineer or similar
- Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering
- Commutable to Manchester office
