Type: Full time - 5 days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Experience: The candidate for this position must have experience of setting up a collections department from scratch including full systems and processes
Industry: Experience in Fintech or Lending is desirable but not essential for this position
Duties of the Collections Manager :
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategy and processes for loan accounts and collections
- Establish and uphold collections policies in line with appropriate legislation
- Comprehensive negotiation skills and ability to create appropriate payment plans for accounts
- Managing the daily loan arrears in line with company policy and procedures
- Supporting customers to implement strategies for resolving delinquent payment and defaults
- Create and maintain key KPI's with relevance to tracking of accounts
- Complete ownership of reporting on accounts to key stakeholders across the business
- Liaising with various sales team members on updated accounts and client debt
- Developing and maintaining relationships and networks with clients and stakeholders
Requirements of the Collections Manager :
- Experience setting up a collections department from scratch including the implementation of system and processes or strong understanding of what good looks like and how to go about setting this up from scratch
- Experience in a B2B lending business
- Worked within a fast-paced high growth environment
- Self-starter / ability to work autonomously
