Billing Coordinator

This international law firm has a history going back to the 1930s. It is now a leading and award-winning firm with a client base encompassing some of the best names in retail, banking, real estate, sports and utilities.

The firm is based in the city, ideally placed for commuters. They offer a generous benefits package that includes a flexible element with an option of choice.

They are now looking to hire a Billing Coordinator on a permanent basis. This role assists in the prompt and accurate processing of invoices across EMEA & Asia. Using Paperless Profoma and Elite Enterprise to generate invoices, and where required ensure the prompt and accurate submission of invoices through the appropriate eBilling systems.

Responsibilities

  • High volume processing of billing instructions received via the Paperless proforma system.
  • Ensuring appropriate tax treatment is applied to all invoices.
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate upload of eBilling submissions to vendor systems.
  • Help create and drive the cross training of the existing billing team to enable billers to be responsible for initial eBilling submissions.
  • Daily review and action resulting from rejections on uploaded invoices.
  • Daily control (as delegated) of the EMEA & Asia billing mailbox and associated queries.
  • Processing writes offs and time transfers as instructed by the business and/or Revenue Controllers.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience of multi-currency, multi-location billing and related tax regulations is essential - preferably with experience of Paperless Proforma and Elite Enterprise and/or 3E.
  • Previous eBilling experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of eBillingHub is required.
  • Working understanding of main eBilling vendor systems such as Legal Tracker, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Datacert, CounselLink is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential (v-lookups, pivot tables etc.)
  • Understanding of all LEDES formats is required.
  • Strong communication skills are critical to this role, as is the ability to organise and prioritising workloads according to deadlines.
  • Confidence in building relationships and initiating communication with team members based in different offices/locations is essential.
