This Brigg Scientific client are a major food manufacturer based in Liverpool.
They are looking to recruit a Food Lab Technician into their manufacturing facility .
The role includes the following duties:
- Extracting information from the daily production plan
- Planning stock requirements of various raw ingredients
- Producing raw material batches including Vitamins, Flavours and Colours
- Managing a sample retention programme
- Completing and filing all Factory associated quality paperwork
- Testing Raw Materials and finished goods
- Reporting out of specification raw materials
- Managing certificates of conformity
The role is a gateway opportunity with training in factory Quality Assurance and work cover opportunities during absences in the QA team.
Working hours are 8am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday.
Initial pay rate will be £11.44/hr on an initial agency contract, rising to £12.75 after 12 weeks. Shift opportunities will also exist then at a pay rate of £15.30/hr.
Successful candidates will have a background in the food industry or have studied Food/Science based subjects and have an interest in joining the food industry.
