I'm currently working with a Secondary School in the East London area who are seeking a full time and permanent Head of Maths to join them for September. The School is a relatively small school for the area, with roughly 400 students, they are OFSTED Good with areas of Outstanding and the currently cover Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Head of Maths roles will entail the leadership and management of the Maths Department, providing support and guidance for the staff and the development and implementation of an engaging curriculum to meet the needs of all students and abilities, amongst other responsibilities.
The successful applicant must have:
- Either leadership experience or a qualification within Leadership.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- At least 4 years of experience teaching Maths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
