QUALITY, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
BRISTOL
£56,000 + BONUS + BENEFITS
Due to ongoing success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with the addition of a Quality, Health & Safety Manager.
We are looking for an ambitious Manager, with good experience in both Quality and H&S. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of Packaging Machinery equipment, which is manufactured and supplied to all parts of the globe.
THE ROLE:
- Ensure legality by advising and monitoring compliance with internal regulations for H&S and Quality.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered too.
- Advising employees and managers on HSE issues.
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
- Maintain and monitor the QMS.
- Conduct internal audits on the QMS.
- Implement the companies Quality policy, ensuring everyone works in line with it.
- Run activities and training to maintain compliance to ISO 9001 standards.
- Prepare reports on quality based performance.
- Conduct annual reviews to ensure updates to processes are noted.
THE PERSON:
- Technical based degree (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in the HSE arena.
- Certified Quality manager - experience in maintenance of QMS system (preferred).
- Problem solving experience in methods such as 8D, Ishikawa.
- Ability to defect faults promptly.
- Risk management experience on projects.
- Previously led quality and CI initiatives in a Manufacturing company.
