AJ Chambers is partnered with a Legal 500 law firm who are recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant in their Grays office.
The individual will be confident with strong experience supporting a Fee Earner with the management of their caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support your Fee Earner(s) in the management of their caseload by actioning legal procedures as directed by the Fee Earner(s);
- Contract Reports, Mortgage Reports, Reporting Gifts and Incentives;
- To carry out electronic ID checks
- Update sales negotiators as and when required;
- Once signed off by Fee earner, exchange contracts and prepare exchange paperwork;
- Taking instructions from clients;
- Sending terms and conditions of business and estimates of fees and disbursements;
- Issuing contracts and dealing with any related sale or part exchange enquiries;
- Carry out any additional admin work within the department or organisation.
Skills Required:
- 3 years of experience working in Conveyancing within a law firm
- Excellent communication and timekeeping skills
- Positive, professional, and friendly persona
