JGA are partnered with a leading manufacturing company seeking an HR Project Specialist on a 2-year FTC to lead their recruitment, L&D and EDI projects and improvements.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute a recruitment plan to meet project timelines for additional headcount.
  • Oversee trial periods for Manchester colleagues transitioning to Denbighshire.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager to create the EVP for external recruitment.
  • Integrate the UK ED&I philosophy into recruitment to achieve a 50/50 gender balance.
  • Attend educational institutes and recruitment fairs to attract future talent.
  • Partner with the Capability Team to develop training plans for new hires and transfers.
  • Work with the Capability Team to implement new ways of working as the site reaches full capacity.
  • Coordinate with internal Talent Acquisition and GBS onboarding teams to ensure a positive candidate experience for the Denbighshire plant.

Skills, and Experience

  • Proven project management experience with a track record of successful high-profile projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Experience with manufacturing plants.
  • Familiarity with external recruitment strategies, including EVP and EDI targets.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results.
  • Excellent time management skills to keep projects on track.
  • Adaptability to learn and implement new organizational structures across different plants**.**
