Vehicle Technician
We are a small friendly family run business looking for a helpful, flexible and efficient person to join our team.
You will be required to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models of vehicles. Working 40hrs per week (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm with 1hour unpaid lunch break) Could be flexible on hours for he right candidate.
Responsibilities include;
- Carrying out routine servicing and repairs
- Inspecting vehicles to a very high standard
- Testing and diagnosing vehicle faults
- Repairing and replacing vehicle parts
- Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance
- Keeping workspace and workshop clean and tidy
- Adhering to Health and Safety in the workshop
- Carrying out MOT's (Preferable but not essential)
Requirements for this role;
- Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, NVQ) or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience
- Experience of diagnostic work is really important
- FGas trained
- Valid driving licence
- Good team player
- Ability to work alone / use own initiative
