Collaborate with education and youth service providers to build confidence and promote a positive view of the police, encouraging applications to join Gwent Police.
Mentor and support candidates from underrepresented groups throughout the recruitment process to improve relations.
Identify new and innovative ways to engage communities, representing Gwent Police at relevant events and job fairs.

Requirements:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject, or possess equivalent relevant experience.
Extensive experience fostering positive relationships with communities and working in a recruitment environment.
Experience working with diverse communities and managing projects from design to delivery.
Working knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and associated positive action legislation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook and Word.
Proficiency in Level 1 Welsh (training will be given).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and inclusive organisation that values diversity and encourages new ideas and ways of working. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact, driving positive change within Gwent Police and the wider community.

If you are passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion, and you thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to join our client and be part of their mission to create a more representative and inclusive police force.
