This role of H&S Admin is a crucial part of the Manufacturing & Installations team within an esteemed Manufacturing sector company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth running of health and safety protocols.

Description

  • Enforcing company-wide health and safety standards and protocols.
  • Managing and organising health and safety records and documentation.
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of health and safety training programs.
  • Regularly inspecting the workplace for potential hazards and reporting findings.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to integrate safety measures into work practices.
  • Participating in health and safety meetings and providing updates on issues and improvements.
  • Supporting the investigation of incidents and accidents to identify causes and recommend solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety laws and regulations.

Profile

A successful H&S Admin should have:

  • A good understanding of health and safety protocols within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Organisational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for effectively relaying health and safety information to all levels of staff.
  • The ability to identify potential hazards and propose effective solutions.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in Leeds.
  • A background in the Engineering & Manufacturing department would be advantageous.
