We are a dynamic and forward-thinking further education institution committed to providing high-quality education and training. Our Criminology and Psychology department is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Criminology and Psychology to join our team. This is for immediate start.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions in Criminology and Psychology to students at level 2 and 3.
  • Develop and update course content, ensuring alignment with the latest curriculum standards.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's offerings and the overall learning experience for students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Criminology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) or a commitment to work towards obtaining one.
  • Experience in teaching at further education level 2 and 3 is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to the personal and academic development of students.

The days needed are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Candidates need a DBS on the update service for an immediate start. This is until the end of June.
