Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our clients team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods.
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
