Our client have an opportunity for an experienced secretary. The successful candidate must have experience in residential conveyancing. Additional experience in other areas of work is advantageous. The candidate will be able to undertake most/all of the following:

The Job

Includes but not limited to:-

  • Audio Typing
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and mortgage advisers
  • Ordering online precontract searches
  • Drafting basic contracts and TR1s
  • Submitting OS1 & K16 searches at HMLR
  • Drafting basic completion statements
  • Updating lender portals
  • Request redemption statements
  • Filing HMLR online applications
  • Completing and submitting online basic SDLT returns
  • Diary management
  • File management

The candidate will be expected to be proactive and assist the Solicitors they work for in progressing files, they must also be organised and competent with technology and office 365. We work in a supportive team environment. We are based on Team Valley, Gateshead and have free on-site parking.
