We are delighted to be supporting our multi-award-winning Asset management firm with the appointment of a Risk Analyst, in the West of England.
This role could suit someone who is well experienced in risk management and working with risk management frameworks.
Responsibilities of the Risk Analyst
- Support the Compliance and Risk team's oversight of services and operations by gathering and preparing information and data.
- Support the HoOR with oversight and embedding of the operational risk framework.
- Maintain risk documentation, including data in 2nd line risk tools (eg risk register), policies, procedures, guidance documents, and other relevant material.
- Review and challenge of the 1st line of defence's management of risks via the 2nd line risk management oversight programme.
- Responsible for 2nd line review and monitoring of risk event management.
Knowledge/Experience of the Risk Analyst
- Experience within a Risk and Compliance role, within an FCA-regulated Investment Manager.
- Has undertaken compliance monitoring reviews as part of an overall compliance monitoring plan, and potentially some deep dive analysis.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements within the UK Financial Services markets.
- Has a working knowledge of risk management concepts and prevention measures relevant to an Investment Manager.
- Experience in risk frameworks would be beneficial.
