Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be working with a global organisation based in Central London on the hire of a Tax Accountant on a permanent basis.
The Tax Accountant will be responsible for all UK tax matters whilst consolidating Group tax provision including deferred tax and participate in global tax projects where required.
In the short to medium term this role will grow into a Tax Manager position with the opportunity to grow a small team.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, review and submit corporate tax computations and returns for all UK companies
- Prepared and submit VAT and other UK tax forms
- Calculate the year-end tax provisions
- Lead and take ownership of all tax matters and projects
- Prepare tax disclosure notes for annual report and statutory accounts
Qualifications & experience required:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CTA
- Experience within accountancy practice with industry exposure is desired but not essential
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting and reporting under IFRS & FRS
- Excellent knowledge of UK corporation tax is essential
