Day to day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that are tailored to the needs of SEN students, ensuring that the content is both accessible and meaningful.
- Employ innovative teaching methods and educational technology to meet the varied learning needs of students.
- Regularly assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the well-being of all students by creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A qualification within teaching is ideal but not essential
- Good subject knowledge
- Experience in teaching science to students with SEN.
- A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
- Strong commitment to fostering the academic and social development of students with SEN.
