Hays are working with a public sector organisation who are looking for a management Accountant to join their team on a remote working basis, with travel to the Shrewsbury site 1 day per month
Your new role
- Management Accounts, Forecast budget, Cashflow report
- Maintenance of Asset Register and Sales Ledger Check
- Monthly Nominal Link from Sage Payroll to Sage Accounts
- Processing Purchase Order changes for support needs.
- Management of Balance Sheet Control Accounts
- Various reports
- Running Month End in sage (Prepayments, Accruals & Depreciation)
- Accrued turnover calculations
- Importing Journals to and from Sage line 50 and the budget software.
- Producing the P&L excel report, formatting, comments
- Payroll Support & Cover
- Online banking & Card maintenance. Sending various monthly summary reports
What you'll need to succeed
You should have a good understanding of management accounts, have good IT skills including Excel (V look up's, pivot tables etc) and Sage would be an advantage but not essential
You should have excellent attention to detail be self-motivated and able to work remotely.
