Your new role
This role is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. There will be a handover period with the current person in post.
As a technical Administrator, you will work within a small team in the Production department.
Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm) Friday (8:30am-2pm)
Duties will include:
- Stock control using Excel to ensure balanced stock levels.
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers.
- Sourcing components to meet production demands.
- Receiving incoming goods.
- Testing incoming goods and reporting inconsistencies to suppliers.
- Maintaining bills of materials on Excel and communicating changes to the purchasing department.
- Working with the production, conformity and quality teams to ensure work instructions are kept up to date.
- Liaising with external maintenance providers to ensure any faults are corrected and recorded.
- Visual inspection of products and preparation for despatch.
- Any other duties as required by the needs of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to help others.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Happy to help out other departments and a collaborative outlook.
