A leading supplier in their industry, this organisation manufactures, distributes and provides training on their products. An employee-owned organisation, based at Tebay, Penrith.
Your new role
This role is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. There will be a handover period with the current person in post.
As a technical Administrator, you will work within a small team in the Production department.
Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm) Friday (8:30am-2pm)

Duties will include:

  • Stock control using Excel to ensure balanced stock levels.
  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Sourcing components to meet production demands.
  • Receiving incoming goods.
  • Testing incoming goods and reporting inconsistencies to suppliers.
  • Maintaining bills of materials on Excel and communicating changes to the purchasing department.
  • Working with the production, conformity and quality teams to ensure work instructions are kept up to date.
  • Liaising with external maintenance providers to ensure any faults are corrected and recorded.
  • Visual inspection of products and preparation for despatch.
  • Any other duties as required by the needs of the business.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to help others.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Happy to help out other departments and a collaborative outlook.
