DUTIES
Your duties as a Technical Support Engineer / IT Systems Technician / Infrastructure Engineer include:
- Administration and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server
- Network device management (switches, routers, VLANs, WiFi etc)
- Operating network services (AD, DHCP, DNS etc)
- Supporting EDR solutions
- IT project management: evaluating alternative solutions and then managing implementation
- Working with 3rd party support providers to deliver solutions for the company
- Implementing new and upgrading previous IT solutions
- Supporting IT colleagues with troubleshooting client PC issues
- Designing and implementing new technical processes and policies
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Familiar with working in an ITIL based organisation
- Excellent skills with Windows Server and Client
- Great understanding of networking, preferably Cisco
- A desire to learn new skills and provide excellent levels of service
- Ability to work independently and on your own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work and collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation
- Full driving license, as occasional travel within the UK will be necessary for incident management and project work
