Job Title: Materials Handling Stores Operator

Location: Mostyn Docks, Gwynt y Mor Offshore Windfarm, CH8 9HE

Pay: £14.06 per hour + Overtime available at Time and a Half

Contract Details: 6-month temporary contract

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Full Time, Day Shifts (5am - 14:00 with flexible options to start later up until 8am)

Driving Required: Yes, operating a Fork Lift Truck, an internal test will be given previous experience driving FLT is essential, current counterbalance licence is highly beneficial

Skills:

  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift licence/experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft systems is essential, and SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in stores or material control is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • IT literacy, particularly in MS Office Applications and SAP, is desirable.
  • Full driving licence and FLT experience are mandatory.
  • Reach and Counterbalance certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Take pride in controlling the inventory of 100,000 litres of new oil and 100,000 litres of waste oil during the scheduled campaign.
  • Ensure efficient daily onshore logistics to stores areas.
  • Be accountable for the daily filling of new oil into the specific offshore containers.
  • Dedicate attention to emptying and segregating waste oil and additional materials daily.
  • Provide support with routine daily stores operations.
  • Accept incoming goods and accurately compare them with the shipping document.
  • Safely operate hand-guided industrial trucks, forklifts, and other transport equipment.
  • Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area.
  • Complete packaging of deliveries according to shipping instructions and requirements.
  • Prepare and attach shipping documents to outgoing goods.
  • Complete transports inside and outside the premises using appropriate means of transportation.
