Temporary Finance Analyst
Location: Rugby - on site
Duration: c3 months (Immediate Start)
Job Overview:
We are supporting a growing business who require a dedicated and experienced Finance Analyst to join their Finance team in Rugby on a temporary basis for a minimum period of three months, with an immediate start.
This role is crucial to support a transition from an existing to system to a new ERP system. The position will initially run until the end of September with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Lead for the system change.
- Assist in the seamless migration of Finance specific data from one system to the other
- Identify current processes, potential gaps, and any additional requirements for the new system.
- Collaborate with the Systems Project Team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Extract and transfer the Finance data, including reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, from Sage.
- Communicate effectively with the new system supplier to address any concerns or requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Management Accounts coupled with strong data and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of finance processes and systems.
- Ability to understand finance workflows and identify potential gaps during the transition.
- Proficiency in data extraction and migration from existing finance system to the new system.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work full-time on site at their Rugby office.
