Key Responsibilities for the Transactional Finance Manager:

  • Manage end-to-end AP/AR team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure all outstanding receivables are collected efficiently.
  • Monitor payment terms and credit limits, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Lead the credit control function to minimise aged debt and improve cash flow.
  • Implement effective credit management strategies and assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
  • Oversee the payroll function, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, pension contributions, and other payroll-related regulations.
  • Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate financial data and reports to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline transactional finance processes and implement automation where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills for the Transactional Finance Manager:

  • Proven experience in a transactional finance management role, including credit control, AP, AR, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Experience in overseeing international payroll processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
