Role:
- At Superbike Factory we buy used motorbikes from riders when they are selling/upgrading their motorbike. Our Purchasing team are responsible for building relationships with the seller, negotiating a fair price, and making the purchase.
Responsibilities as our Purchasing Team Leader will include:
- Deputises for the Purchasing Manager when required for example holiday and other absences and assumes the PM accountabilities when doing so.
- Supports the Purchasing Manager to manage the team and meeting departmental targets.
- Manages the team on a day-to-day basis by being available and providing support when needed.
- Approves purchases of motorbikes and checking of images.
- Monitors incoming messages and emails from customers, allocates to the team and ensures they are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Liaises with other departments to ensure strong integration with other operational functions.
- Reviews daily No Buys/cancellations and reports to Call Centre Manager.
- Assists the Purchasing Manager in improving individual and team performance.
