We are seeking a motivated and experienced Application Support Team Lead with a strong background in SQL Server and Jira. The successful candidate will lead the application support team, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of business applications, providing top-tier technical support, and driving continuous improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of application support analysts
- Provide technical guidance and oversight ensuring best practices are followed
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the application support team
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to SQL Server databases and Jira
- Work closely with the development and DBA teams to resolve database-related issues and implement enhancements
- Develop and maintain scripts for database monitoring and maintenance
- Ensure the Jira platform is optimised for team efficiency and meets business requirements
About You
- Previous experience in Application Support with some exposure to managing a team
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including database management, performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Jira administration and configuration
