Senior Payroll Manager

Boston Hale is currently representing a well-known creative institution who are seeking a new Senior Payroll Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a brand new role in the team structure and make it their own. The successful candidate will have prior LGPS or TPS experience.

Duties:

  • Manage and develop the payroll function
  • Deliver timely and accurate payroll for up to 900 members of staff and collaboration with an external service provider
  • Develop controls to ensure integrity of payroll data and implement improvements where required
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses on queries on payroll matters
  • Keep up to date on relevant payroll legislation including pensions auto-enrolment
  • Manage pension contributions and act as main point of contact with pension providers

Essential:

  • Knowledge of local government pension schemes or TPS
  • Operational experience of full payroll and pensions services

Desirable

  • Experience using ITrent or Agresso
