Finance Assistant Sales Ledger

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in an educational establishment? Pertemps are recruiting for a dedicated Finance Assistant specialising in Sales Ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Sales Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconciling accounts and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist with financial reporting and provide support during audits.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing data on systems, ensuring data remains accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a finance role.
  • Experience within an educational establishment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of sales ledger processes and financial principles.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office packages (Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday- 8.30am to 5pm

Friday- 8.30am to 4.30pm

(1 hour Lunch Break)

Hourly pay:

£13/£14ph dependent on experience
