Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a live arts venue to support their search for a number 1 in finance.

The Business

Our client is a vibrant multi-arts venue, renowned for its diverse event programming and artistic festivals that bring communities together. Celebrated for its numerous industry partnerships and multiple income streams, this values-driven organization is now seeking an experienced finance lead to help steer their new strategic direction.

Based in the heart of London with a hybrid working arrangement, this is the perfect role for a senior finance professional with an avid interest in the arts who wants to make a real difference to a fantastic charity.

The Role

This position is the number 1 role in Finance, reporting into the Managing Director and Chairman, and has Director responsibilities.

You shall manage the team as the current incumbent's goes into retirement. Heading up a small finance team, this position offers financial and strategic responsibilities as you work alongside the board of trustees and founder on a daily basis. With an emphasis on driving revenue streams and building out strategic KPIs, you shall utilize your business partnering skills to communicate financial plans to non-finance stakeholders and encourage a sense of collaboration and trust within this closely-knit team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing cash flows
  • Building out KPIs on dashboards
  • Partnering across directory team
  • Financial reporting to the board and trustees
  • Driving revenue streams to increase fundraising appeal
  • Managing the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Assistant

What we need to see (essential):

  • Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Charity experience
  • Line management
  • Fantastic communication and collaboration skills
  • A genuine passion for the arts!

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Venues/Live Events/Performing Arts industry experience
  • Experience in a scale-up organization

Day rate: £225-£265 (Inside IR35)

Location: London, Zone 1 (Hybrid)
