Property Manager

Our client, an independent estate agency, are looking for an experienced Property Manager to hit the ground running, looking after their portfolio and broadening your experience through guiding and training new members of staff. There is no pressure selling and they don't have silly targets, they just want the best customer service to be provided to all their clients.
Being an experienced Property Manager you'd already be aware of the day-to-day aspects of the role, however these would briefly include:
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Handling enquiries and booking viewings
- Resolving maintenance issues for properties under management
- Property inspections
- Recording inventories
- Preparing tenancy paperwork
- Completing move in/out appointments
- Keeping the portfolio closely managed and to the highest standard
- Ensuring full legislative compliance
- Helping to generate new business, with commission available
They are looking for someone who is a problem solver, quick thinking, articulate, a great communicator and a strong team player.
Other essentials for the ideal candidate are:
- GCSE Mathematics and English are essential, a strong grasp of punctuation, grammar and spelling is a must
- Full Drivers license
- Reasonable knowledge of Manchester and the city centre
- Keen eye for detail - you'll be checking contract paperwork and conditions within properties
- At least two years prior experience as a Property Manager
Working hours:
You'd be working Monday to Friday between 9am - 5.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays between 10am - 2pm, where a half day will be worked the week prior.
