The Role
Senior Designer - on trend ladies fashion brand.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Independently plan and develop ranges with a strong vision and direction, driving quality and considered product.
- Report into the design manager and identifying and deliver trend direction to the team in weekly meetings
- Liaising with overseas offices on a daily basis.
- Collaborating and working closely across departments including marketing, buying and merchandising.
- Use insight and data to design commercial and trend led collections.
- Working with the technical team on fits on a weekly basis to perfect key blocks and construction.
- Positively lead and be a role model to the design team, providing clear direction and encouraging collaborative ways of working.
Requirements:
- +5 years experience as womenswear fashion designer in the industry
- Excellent eye for fashion, design and styling.
- Attention to detailAbility to work towards multiple deadlines.
- Able to maintain brand consistency throughout your work.
- Knowledge and experience of adobe creative suite.
- Prioritise workload and work independently.
- Degree in fashion design or in a related subject.
