An Arts related Not-for-Profit organisation based in Central London is looking for a Finance Officer to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working with 1 day per week to be worked from home. The Finance Officer will report to the Financial Controller and works in a small yet friendly accounts team.
Duties of the Finance Officer:
- Daily Bank reconciliations, posting of all payments and receipts on purchase, sales and general ledger
- Daily processing of purchase invoices and staff expenses; checking of coding liaising with budget holders and cardholders to resolve queries promptly
- Preparation of biweekly or weekly payment runs
- Weekly reconciliation of credit card income
- Monthly reconciliation of other payment receipt methods
- Monthly processing of credit card and cash card expenditure and reconciliation
Requirements of the Finance Officer:
- Minimum 5 year of experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Officer role
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Good IT and Excel skills
- Excellent customer service and team working skills with demonstratable evidence of supporting internal stakeholders. suppliers and other parties
