Wedding & Events Coordinator

A luxury boutique hotel are searching for a Wedding & Events Coordinator to join their Events team.

Responsibilities:

This role will be a hands on position, supporting junior members of staff, producing sales proposals for event enquires and planning and delivering successful events for their clients.

  • Effectively communicate with the wider departments to ensure the event is ready to run smoothly (kitchen, hospitality, operations etc)
  • Handling sales enquires, taking full client contact details and logging all relevant information
  • Following up with enquires to convert to a booking
  • Completing viewings of the hotel when requested
  • providing accurate quotation
  • Taking deposits and finalising each booking
  • Overseeing the department in the managers absence
  • Supporting junior members of staff
  • Arranging and setting up your events - checking rooms for correct set-up, cleanliness, table layout and any specific requirements
  • Be able to think outside the box when planning
  • ad-hoc duties

Your Experience:

  • Must have experience within the events planning industry
  • Flexibility to work different hours if an event is taking place
