Temporary Facilities Manager required for a leading logistics business overseeing a mixture of office and warehouse space. This is a 3-6 month requirement with the potential to extend.

Client Details

A leading logistics / supply chain business are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our company's facilities (warehouse & office space). The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that sites are health & safety compliant and fit for purpose for all employees.

The role is based at their site in Manchester with responsibility for and occasional travel to other sites across the UK.

Description

You will be responsible for overseeing Hard / Soft services across their sites, logging issues and liaising with external contractors to carry out necessary works on site.

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out risk assessments ensuring safety & compliance across the sites
  • Contribute to ISO accreditation
  • Overseeing budget / cost control
  • Procurement of vendor / suppliers
  • Lead on sustainability / environmental initiatives

Profile

  • Experience working in a Multi Site FM role ideally within logistics or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Able to source / manage external suppliers & contractors
  • IOSH / NEBOSH certification
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO accreditation
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
