Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Picker & Delivery Driver at Wanderlust Wine, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our restaurant customers throughout London and Home Counties. You will have the opportunity to be the face of our company, interacting with our valued customers and ensuring that they receive their wines with a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick wine bottles, cases, and other products based on customer orders.
- Ensure orders are correctly packed, labelled, and ready for dispatch
- Safely transport wine orders to restaurant locations within London and Home Counties.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive delivery experience.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and payment collections.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Flexibility between working with our warehouse team or to be out delivering orders for the day, depending on demands.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience as a delivery driver is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle and transport wine carefully and responsibly.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Friendly, nice mannered and a people-person.
- Knowledge of London streets and routes is an advantage.
- A passion for wine and a willingness to learn about our unique product offerings is optional.

Reports to:
- Operations Manager
Now that our company has grown, we are looking for another key team member who is a hybrid role between getting customer orders ready at the warehouse and delivering them to top restaurants in and around London in our electric van. Our company delivers to restaurant customers Tuesday to Friday; Mondays are the busiest day of the week for order preparations, we are ideally looking for someone who can work with us and be flexible between these two aspects.
This role would be ideal for someone who has flexibility in their schedule and wants additional income. Over the next 18 months, we expect the role to increase in hours as our restaurant customer base continues to grow.
