Senior Lending Manager (Restructuring & Recoveries)

The role:
We are currently working exclusively with a successful financial services business who wish to appoint a newly created role of Senior Lending Manager (Restructuring & Recoveries). Reporting to Head of Portfolio Management the role of Senior Lending Manager will play a business critical role in working closely with commercial lending customers to negotiate and agree restructuring & recovery schemes. Remote working.
Further responsibilities include...
- Lead and manage the negotiations on high value lending arrangements to include insolvency, restructure and recoveries
- Deal effectively with administrators and receivers
- Work closely with Head of Portfolio Management to agree action plans
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders
- Contribute to the banks business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships
- Stay updated with industry trends, changes in regulations and best practice

The Person:
- The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in dealing with lending arrangements including commercial premises and development finance/self-build
- Experience in high value arrangements - c£3mil+
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Professional, approachable and willing to share expertise with colleagues where appropriate
- Would suit someone seeking either permanent/contract or full-time/part-time
Salary:
- c£80k plus bonus, pension, health, 25 days
