Toolmaker required to join a well-established precision engineering / manufacturing company, based in the Stevenage area. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a range of machines including Turning machines, Surface grinders and CNC machines. This role will also include being a supervisor/ mentor for a small team trainee.

Position Overview
- Use of Surface grinders, Turning machines and other CNC machines.
- Set and Operate a range of machines
- Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
- Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
- Comply with company standards

Position Requirements
- Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
- Experience with CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing
- Live within a commutable distance to Stevenage

Position Remuneration
- Full time - Permanent
- Day shift - 37.5 hours a week - flexible start and finish
- Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
