Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

My client is seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Central London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including opening files, managing accounts, and handling post-completion matters. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for property law.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Opening and managing client files efficiently.
- Raising and managing accounts related to property transactions.
- Handling post-completion matters including filing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns.
- Drafting notices to landlords as part of the conveyancing process.
- Dealing with the conveyancing of new build properties and second-hand properties.
- Ensuring all documentation and processes comply with legal regulations and company policies.
- Communicating effectively with clients, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably within residential conveyancing (minimum 1 years of experience in the field)
- Familiarity with the conveyancing process, including post-completion matters.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
