Job Title: Lettings Accounts Assistant - you will be fully trained but need to be numerical and analytical

Salary: £17,000pa Permanent/Part-time - this is the salary for those hours

Flexible on exact hours - 25 hours per weeky

There is full training on this role - an accounts background is not essential but good numeracy, and analytical skills will be required.

The company is closed over Christmas and these days will be in additional to the holiday allowance (maybe an hour to log in on those days will be required)

Once trained you will be able to work on your own initiative.

25 hours a week - ideally 5 hours a day - Flexible with timings! - the days are Monday to Friday in the office during probation (6 months) thereafter you are able to request to work from home.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Lettings Accountant in providing accounts support to our landlords, tenants and lettings offices. Ideally you will have experience working as an accounts or administrative assistant. Our friendly Accounts team strives on providing an excellent level of service and as such you will be polite and professional when dealing with clients and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will take a personable approach to work and be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Posting tenant and landlord receipts
  • Paying landlord rent and supplier invoices
  • Chasing rent arrears
  • Paying deposit returns
  • Resolving client, tenant and office queries

Ad hoc reporting

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • IT literate and good MS Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail

You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team and will be given full training on being a Lettings Accounts Assistant. You will be based in lovely offices.
