  • Contracts Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of contracts related to the maintenance and innovation of the estate.
  • Tender Processes and Scheduling: Lead the planning and execution of tender processes for annual projects, ensuring adherence to statutory compliance and best practices.
  • Building Services Leadership: Provide direction and support to a skilled team of engineers tasked with both planned and reactive maintenance duties.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to make decisions that ensure long-term improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Innovation in Preservation: Spearhead modernization projects that respect the historical character of the Palace while seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced Facilities or Operations Manager with extensive M&E background.
  • Proficient in using Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems.
  • Expertise in SFG20 maintenance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage statutory compliance, risk, cost control, and project management within a heritage or multi-site estate context.
  • A strategic thinker with proven skills in contract management and a passion for preserving historical integrity through innovative practices.
