We are looking for an Audit trained, qualified, SME Financial Controller or Head of finance, to join a privately owned Parking Solutions/Management company as a Financial Controller. This position is paying £80-90k and is based in North London with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
The Role
- This position is reporting directly into the CFO, the CFO would like this role to spearhead an array of improvements to existing processes (Month end Management accounts, system migration)
- You will line manage 2 individuals but have overall responsibility for a team of 7.
- Month end reporting, including management of the overall month end process and detailed review of P&L.
- Support the annual audit process, ensuring backup papers and schedules are available for review.
- Prepare and submit Group VAT returns, support the CFO in corporation tax annual filing.
- Responsible for financial control in the business, ensuring regular balance sheet reviews are conducted and maintain a schedule of all risks and opportunities.
Your Profile
- All applicants must be fully qualified.
- You will ideally be Audit trained and possess experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller in a small to medium sized company.
- Experience of improving processes and system migration is hugely advantageous but is not a prerequisite.
