As a Cash & Banking Associate, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate posting of all cash transactions across multiple international locations. You will also be tasked with ensuring inter-company cash transfers are correctly posted and allocated. Y
Your role will involve dealing with queries from internal divisional finance teams with necessary follow up to obtain a satisfactory resolution. You will also prepare month end bank reconciliations for review for multiple bank accounts and entities across the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Post cash transactions in finance system for all bank accounts within the UK, US, EU, Singapore, and Australia
- Ensure inter-company cash transfers are correctly posted and allocated
- Resolve various cash transaction queries
- Prepare month end bank reconciliations for review for multiple bank accounts and entities across the Group
- Provide cover for other duties performed within the team including payments
- Ensure that cash transactions are recorded and reconciled in an efficient and accurate manner
The ideal candidate for the Cash & Banking Associate role will have experience working in a finance environment or possess knowledge of accounting from a study perspective.
You should be comfortable working in a large company environment, meeting tight deadlines, and responding to the needs of the business on a timely basis.
Strong analytical and numerical abilities are essential, as well as good levels of communication in both verbal and written form. A focus on accuracy, self-checking, and the ability to organise your own workload to meet deadlines is crucial
This role would suit a finance/economics/maths or busineds graduate or have previous transactional finance expertience
