Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis, by a rapidly expanding organisation based in Greenock to recruit an Accountant on either a part-time or full-time basis. There is scope for the role to be 3, 4 or 5 days. This is an exciting role which will involve all financial aspects of the business, including preparing and analysing management accounts, maintaining financial records, processing payments, payroll, reconciliations and financial analysis. There is also the opportunity for hybrid working and being able to work two or three days from home.
The main duties:
- Working closely with the Directors and Management to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
- Payroll and Pension administration and processing
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flow preparation
- Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
- Bank, Credit Card and Petty Cash reconciliations
- Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
- Resolution of finance related queries
- Liaising with external accountants for the preparation of year end accounts and audit
- Provide financial support to team members
- Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in management meetings
- Implement process improvements and controls

- Excellent Excel skills
My client offers a salary of 36-38K Pro Rata, hybrid working and the opportunity for part-time work which could then become full-time.
