Salary: Up to £35,000 + bonus + benefits

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented IT Bid Co-ordinator to join our clients' team in Birmingham. As a IT Bid and Tender Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities through the creation of compelling bids and proposals. Working closely with the sales and technical teams, you will be responsible for crafting persuasive documents that showcase our client's capabilities and differentiate them from competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and operational teams to understand client requirements and develop bid strategies.
  • Write, edit, and proofread bid documents, proposals, and tender responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support bid development.
  • Manage the bid process from inception to submission, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure all bid requirements are met.
  • Review and analyze feedback on bids to continuously improve the quality of submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bids and tenders, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Previous experience within the IT industry.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, services, and solutions.
  • Self-starter able to work on own initiative.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel.
  • Able to deliver against demanding KPIs/targets.
  • Understand the tender process and the ability to review the Terms and Conditions and the potential liabilities to the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Any experience of working in the Public Sector space, this will be highly advantageous to your application.
