Description
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting.
- Assisting in the production of annual statutory accounts and audit packs.
- Performing financial analysis to aid decision-making.
- Contributing to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial operations.
- Participating in finance-related projects as required.
- Helping to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- An academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Offer
