This position requires an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a thriving construction company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, and a keen eye for detail.

Description

  • Process invoices and make payments in a timely manner
  • Maintain supplier details and reconcile supplier statements
  • Deal with purchase ledger queries
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments
  • Prepare BACS payments and process staff expenses
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Assist with other accounting projects as needed

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • The capacity to work to deadlines and under pressure
