Description
- Process invoices and make payments in a timely manner
- Maintain supplier details and reconcile supplier statements
- Deal with purchase ledger queries
- Assist with month end closing
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments
- Prepare BACS payments and process staff expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in Purchase Ledger
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- The capacity to work to deadlines and under pressure
