I'm partnering with a leading financial services company headquartered in Manchester, with offices around the globe, to find their next Head of IT. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team during a period of significant growth and technological enhancement.
As the Head of IT, you will be part of a close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have IT Manager experience or above, capable of bridging the gap between operations and testing while managing both the development team and the technology support function. The Development team is currently working on a project using C#, so prior experience with similar technologies would be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in collaborating with developers and IT support staff, demonstrating the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. They will have robust cloud expertise, particularly in AWS, and be well-versed in infrastructure security practices. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will regularly engage with the board and drive the delivery of IT and development strategies.
You'll work on a hybrid basis with a flexible hours, allowing you to have the right work-life balance. Occasional visits to other offices will be required as they work to enhance their IT offerings and contribute to the development of a new platform aimed at automating business processes.
