The successful applicant will become a key member of our team at Vermeylen Law.
Vermeylen Law is a private client law firm based in Bristol. We specialise in wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications, and inheritance tax. A significant proportion of our work involves cross-border private international law.

Experience required
Private client
- Experience in managing private client cases, across the following areas, with limited supervision:
- Wills (including Wills for business owners)
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney (including Lasting Powers of Attorney and the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney)
- Trusts
- Experience in working on matters with other professionals (such as solicitors, financial advisers, and accountants)
- Experience in managing private client cases with cross-border elements
Qualifications required
Essential
- Solicitor of England and Wales with a strong background in private client practice
Preferred
- Full Member of STEP
- Accredited Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers
Additional
- Line management experience would be an advantage
- A valid driving licence and use of your own car are essential

This is a hybrid opportunity, subject to the needs of the business.
Predominantly the successful candidate will be based across either of our premises in Bristol City Centre and the surrounding area, including on Berkeley Square for regular client meetings.
