Our client, a leading supplier of balustrades, is seeking a highly organised, motivated Business Development Executive to join their team.

Job Description:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by re-engaging with lapsed and dormant clients, as well as generating new business opportunities. This position involves a blend of fieldwork and office-based activities, with 3 days spent on the road meeting clients and 2 days working from the Head Office in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconnect with lapsed and dormant clients to reignite business relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify and generate new leads.
  • Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients to maximise business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product range and market.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the client's needs.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and pipeline status.
  • Work closely with the internal sales team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product sales, ideally within the metal or engineering sectors.
  • Technical sales background is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
