What if you were our Business Intelligence Analyst?

At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people. At the IET you'll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you'll grow - professionally and personally - in ways you never thought possible. We're also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.

What you'll be doing

In this key and varied role, you will be pivotal in driving operational effectiveness and achieving business objectives and strategic KPIs through timely and insightful analysis. You will be responsible for analysing and reporting on customer behaviour patterns and engagement, ensuring data quality and integrity, and advising on and contributing to enhancements in business processes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing department, various business units, and IET volunteers to fully leverage available data. Your insights will play a crucial role in improving and enhancing the customer journey, producing analyses and reports that inform business activities and go-to-market strategies.

What we hope you can bring to the role

Ideally you will bring a wealth of expertise to the role, including strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly assimilate complex information. You must have solid knowledge and experience using statistical and analytical tools, especially Power BI, and an understanding of how to improve data quality and assurance. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills are essential, also excellent organisational and planning abilities. You should be adept at managing workloads, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. The ability to act on your own initiative while effectively collaborating as part of a team is crucial. Additionally, experience with marketing and content management systems, particularly email management systems, will be highly valued.
