Client Manager/ Accounts Manager- small but mighty firm who truly value their staff

We at Reed Practice have just the opportunity as a Client Manager within a small but mighty accountancy firm located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a hop skip and jump down the road from Sudbury, who genuinely involve their staff in their business.

Your role as Client Manager will give you the chance to work with an interesting range of clients and due to their size, you'll liaise directly with inspiring business leaders, using all the latest technology, and have a real impact on the development of their companies becoming a valued advisor.

Your tasks will include:

  • Preparation of annual accounts, management accounts and personal tax returns
  • Manage staff and workloads to ensure internal deadlines are met
  • Reviewing team members work – company accounts, partnership, sole traders, personal tax returns and VAT returns
  • Support the training of junior team members, act as their mentor

As Client Manager and a key part of a close-knit team, you will be commercially minded and actively seek new opportunities for the firm, promoting the business when appropriate.

You benefit from being supported by the senior leadership team as your progress your career, completing your ACCA qualifications with full support (where necessary), develop your range of IT skills and business acumen.

All we require to be able to discuss this with you is:

  • Experience in providing accounting services within another practice firm to UK regulations
  • Working towards, or completed, ACCA studies. Those AAT qualified with appropriate experience should also apply
